In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to his own town to register.
 
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
 
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
 
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

i have some really old great aunts who love to give huggs,

honestly im not a hugger, at all, but they are, and give them

and more than half the time they start crying....in a good way (i think)

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? mrs. claus wraps them, seals each with a kiss, and gives them to santa to do the hard work. DUH!

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child? the year we heard the reindeer on the roof, then santa was at my grandmas door, and gave us kids candy canes.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? i have no idea.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? when i was kid we opened one on christmas eve, usually pj's but now that we're older, we have fewer but more expensive gifts usually we just wait till the day of.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? color light, and alot of fun ornaments.  
11. Snow! Love it or dread it? cant say that i know, in california here, we've had 80 degree christmas's
12. Can you ice skate? i hold on the side and scoot my way around the rink..does that count?
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? a tutu my great grandpa gave me the year before he passed away.
14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you? spending time with friends and family, and celebrating little baby Jesus birth of course.
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert? pumpkin pie.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? going to christmas eve service, and looking and christmas lights.
17. What tops your tree? a bow, the tree is too tall to put a star or angel.
18. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving? Giving
19. Candy canes: yuck or yummy? YUMMY!!
20. Favorite Christmas show? Rudolf
21. Saddest Christmas song? that one about the kid giving his moms shoes? i dont know the name

she is spoiled with hugs and kisses and alot of goldfishes

i love being an aunty!

Meet Melissa

Melissa and I met when we were both freshman in high school

when i was living in Elk Grove, a little town about 15 minutes South of Sacramento

we just clicked, just like peas and carrots (please say this in a Forrest gump accent) (awesome!jenny)

we spent many nights as "ghosts, making up rap songs, and dances to

"hey Mickey" or "i'ma barbie girl"

please note, there is absolutely NOTHING to do in Elk Grove,

especially when you're only 14

(maybe that's everywhere when you're 14)

i was practically giddy when i picked up some catnip

for my (mimi kitty) mimers (poopers) moomooers, j(hsound)emma

{no i do not have 5 cats, those are just some of the names i gave her)

I have seen other kitties go crazy for it and thought she would love it.

and since I'm taking her to get spayed next week, i wanted to give her some extra love.

so this morning was the big event. i put the catnip on a plate on the floor

and what does she do?

This is our 3rd annual halloween chipotle run.

years past the rules have been to wear tin foil, but this year at the last minute we found out

the rules had changed to dress like a farm animal.

So we worked with what foil we had, and made farm animals.

cow, farmer, bull, and dog



this year, is the year,

for me!

With that said, I will spend my time doing things that I want to do.

So Sue me if its selfish i dont care!

I do not need anyone to make me feel fullfilled or special.
